JOINT PUBLIC ADVISORY
Effective March 31, 2021, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance is no longer required when securing License to Own and Possess Firearm (LTOPF). This is in line with the “Ease of Doing Business” program of the government and the priority thrust of the PNP of further streamlining the documentary requirements in PNP transactions.
The public is further notified that the National Police Clearance System is already implemented and can be secured on selected police stations nationwide.
Additional Instruction: You may upload your National Police Clearance on the slot of the NBI Clearance or upload a blank document.
