Food Safety & Hygiene Academy of the Philippines (FoodSHAP®) is now PNS ISO/IEC 17020:2012 accredited by the Philippine Accreditation Bureau (PAB) with Accreditation Number: IB-2020-011A, complying with the requirements of the accreditation such as competence, impartiality, and quality. FoodSHAP® is the first to be fully accredited by PAB in the field of food safety with the scope in Catering and Retail, and Food Processing.
The PNS ISO/IEC 17020:2012, Conformity assessment-Requirements for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection is an internationally recognized standard for the competence of inspection bodies. As an inspection body, FoodSHAP® applied for this accreditation to exhibit its credibility and competency to help food establishments in food safety implementation.
